Walter Elias Disney was born on December 5, 1901 in Hermosa, Chicago, Illinois, USA to Flora Disney and Elias Disney. Disney, who started drawing at the art course he attended at the age of 14, dropped his education at the age of 16 while going to school and the Art Institute of Chicago, and made a radical decision and enlisted in the army as an ambulance driver. He returned to America after working in the Red Cross in France until 1919. Disney, who continued to draw after returning to his country, was trying to take his cartoons to various newspapers and publish them. Disney, who did not like his cartoons at that time, received an offer from a priest to paint the activities of his church and for a small fee the nun began to work. He also gave him a room inside the church to study and stay. While he was living in his room in this church, there was also a mouse in the room. Although he was afraid of this mouse, he named it Mickey and started painting. These drawings were Mickey Mouse drawings that gave him the opportunity to become the world's most famous producer. The adventure that started with Mickey Mouse grew with the production company they founded with his brother.
