Two policemen were martyred and four others injured in a bomb attack carried out by suspected Daesh members in Turkey’s southeastern Diyarbakir province early Monday, Turkish security sources said.
A clash ensued when security forces raided a residential building in Kayapinar district, which was said to be in use of Daesh members. Two policemen were killed and four others injured when explosives planted outside the building were detonated.
The wounded were taken to Dicle University Medical Faculty Hospital in the province.
Daesh is among terrorist organizations accused of killing 102 people in two back-to-back bombings at a peace rally in the Turkish capital of Ankara on Oct. 10.
