In 1920, the first organized strike was held in the field of education. The primary school teachers' strike, which started on March 1, 1920 and lasted for fourteen days, after the reactions of teachers who could not get their salaries for eight months, took its place in history as the first "rights strike". Strikes are when workers leave their jobs in order to obtain their rights in a line of business or a workplace, in the form of stopping the activity or significantly disrupting the work within the framework of the nature of the work, following a decision made by them or by a union. Workers can strike to change working conditions in their favor, as well as against attempts to change a law, to overthrow political power, to create an anti-labor and anti-democratic government to support the struggle for democracy. The strike can be in a workplace, industry or nationwide. Workers on strike may stop working for a certain or indefinite period… In this sense, a strike is a collective action of the working class against the bourgeoisie using its power from production. The strike varies according to its purpose and the way it is implemented and is denoted by different names: Strike of interest: The strike that occurs within the legal procedure of the collective agreement. Right strike: A strike in the event of failure to implement the terms or conditions of the current collective agreement.
