Said Halim Pasha, one of the leading intellectuals and statesmen who grew up in the hardest years of the Ottoman World State, passed away 98 years ago today. Said Halim Pasha, in addition to his statesmanship, made efforts to solve the problems during the difficult years of the Ottoman Empire with his intellectual personality. The Poet of Independence Mehmet Akif put Said Halim Pasha, his friend, in a very different place from the politicians of this period, and saw him as a thinker rather than a politician. Most of Said Halim Pasha's works were published by Mehmet Akif in Sebilürreşad. Said Halim Pasha has 8 books, usually written under the signature of Mehmed, as well as his memoirs, letters and written answers to Divan-ı Ali's questions.
