Four arrested over Ankara car bomb blast

 Four people were arrested Monday in connection with Sunday’s car bomb attack in Ankara, a security source said.

The arrests in Sanliurfa, a province on the border with Syria, came after anti-terrorist police discovered the car involved in the blast that killed 37 was bought in the city, the source said on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on speaking to the media.

The suspects are expected to be brought to Ankara.

Sunday’s attack in Kizilay Square, a central public transport hub, saw a car bomb detonated at around 6.45 p.m. local time (1645 GMT) near a row of bus stops outside an entrance to a metro station.
