Palestinian martyred by Israeli forces in West Bank

Israeli forces shot dead a Palestinian man on Tuesday after his car crashed into a bus station near the Ariel settlement in the occupied West Bank, according to the military.

In a statement, the army said the forces opened fire on the man after he attempted to flee the scene.

No injuries were reported among Israeli forces.

The military said the incident was not a “terrorist” attack.

Last week, at least 18 Palestinians were killed by Israeli gunfire during rallies demanding the return of refugees near border of the Gaza Strip.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces rounded up 11 Palestinians in overnight raids across the West Bank.

The army said the individuals were arrested for "suspected involvement in popular terrorist activities".

According to Palestinian figures, roughly 6,400 Palestinians are currently held in Israeli prisons, including dozens of women and 300 minors.
