BRAVE CONFLICT
On January 5, 2017, when PKK terrorists headed to the gate C of the Izmir Courthouse on January 5, 2017, Sekin stopped the vehicle he suspected and noticed the armed terrorists inside, thanks to his experience and attention, and intervened immediately by pulling his beylik gun. Getting out of the vehicle, the terrorists, who were chased by Fethi Sekin for a while, detonated the bomb he brought with them. After neutralizing one of the 2 terrorists he was chasing, Sekin fought bravely to catch the other until he ran out of bullets. Police hero was martyred in front of the courthouse where he was serving as a result of the fire opened by a terrorist hiding behind a vehicle. Preventing the attack planned by the terrorist organization PKK, Sekin repelled the terrorists with 2 Kalashnikovs, RPG-7 rocket launchers and 8 ammunition and hand grenades. Married and father of 3 children, Fethi Sekin saved the lives of many people with her heroic stance.
