Turkey Radio and Television Corporation (TRT), on behalf of the state radio and television broadcasts in order to realize the 01 May of 1964, was established as an autonomous legal entity with a special law. In 1984, in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution of 1982 it has been revised Turkey Radio and Television Law. After 1986 the satellite, the emergence of private television broadcasting for Turkey, TRT has removed its monopoly over television broadcasts lasted until 1990. With the amendment of Article 133 of the Constitution in 1993, private radio and television broadcasts were released, while TRT's autonomy was reestablished. TRT today serves as a public service broadcaster, broadcasting from radio and television and all media, whose autonomy and impartiality are governed by the constitution.
RADIO BROADCASES GATHER UNDER THE ROOF OF TRT

Izmir Radio, which started its broadcasting life in 1950 under the İzmir Municipality, continued its broadcasts within the Public Office of Publications since 1953.
CITY RADIOS FOUNDED IN 1960
Provincial Radios were established in eight provinces after 1960. In accordance with the 1961 Constitution, which stipulated that the management of radio broadcasts should be regulated as an autonomous and impartial public economic institution, the radio broadcasts continued within TRT with the law numbered 359 in 1964, reaching a wider audience and the field with the strengthening of their transmitters. In 1974, TRT-1, TRT-2 and TRT-3 radio broadcasts were created by merging TRT's central and regional radios. The television broadcasts, Mithatpaşa Studio in Predicting Mahmut Tali began with the opening speech in Ankara, Turkey's first television broadcast of the trial on January 31, 1968. TRT-3 and GAP-TV entered service in 1989, and TRT's number of channels increased to 4. In 1990, TRT-INT broadcasts for Turkish workers living in Europe started with the education-oriented TRT-4. In 1993, TRT-AVRASYA channel, which included programs for the Caucasus and Central Asia, and in 1995 TBMM TV went on the air. In 1999, TRT_SAYTEK (Digital Broadcasting Technology Center) was established and its website was launched with the address www.trt.net.tr.
