Erdogan phones Turkish citizen in Germany

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Sunday phoned a Turkish citizen residing in Germany who had been ill-treated by police and extended get-well wishes.

Yusuf Unsal was forced to the ground and arrested by a group of German police officers while he was protesting against a demonstration on Sunday by terrorist PKK sympathizers in the city of Stuttgart.

The terror group’s sympathizers were holding anti-Turkey and anti-Erdogan banners and chanting slogans. The incident was captured on video by another Turkish citizen.

Erdogan also received details of the incident from Unsal during their conversation, said a statement from the Presidential office.
