James Harden becomes first NBA player in history to produce four 50-point triple double
Houston Rockets guard James Harden made a new NBA record on Thursday night after scoring 50-point triple double in the victory over Los Angeles Lakers.
Harden produced 50 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists in a 126-111 victory over Los Angeles Lakers.
There are only six players - Harden, Russell Westbrook, Elgin Baylor, Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Richie Guerin -- who recorded 50-point triple doubles in NBA history, and four have multiple 50-point triple-doubles, except Abdul-Jabbar and Guerin.
The National Basketball Association's (NBA) 2018/2019 regular season had five games scheduled on Thursday night.
