Many art branches in Ecdat Park Art Street give light to people. In this street, some of them enjoy walking around and some of them participate in the work done. At the same time, the students are given the opportunity to learn the branches of art they are interested in by being given in courses.
The forgotten professions are brought to light in Ecdat Park Art Street. Painter Kenan Ergün said that he realized his painting workshop, which is his only dream, in Konya Ecdat Park. “I have been painting since my childhood. I am originally from Erzurum, but I came to Konya 20 years ago for business. I retired last year. My only dream was to have a painting studio. "It was my greatest chance to find a shop in such a place in Ecdat Park."
‘I MAKE PICTURES OF OLD AND NEW KONYA’
Referring to their classical and modern works in the painting workshop, Ergün said, “I try to help introduce Konya, especially with paintings unique to Konya. I like the oil painting work more. Since it dries late, it takes longer to work. It is easier to shade. By painting the old Konya and the new Konya, I especially go beyond the classical paintings. We are doing our best to introduce our Konya to foreign tourists coming from outside, ”he said.

Hisar Pottery Pottery Master Mehmet Gürpınar said, “I have been doing this business for 43 years. I started this business in Doğanhisar. I am currently continuing in Ecdat Park. We attract a lot of attention from the citizens of Konya, but nowadays it is a bit stagnant due to the pandemic. Pottery definitely cleans the minerals in the water. It gives distilled water. It also cools. We especially use red soil. The red soil cools the water very quickly and removes the lime from the water. We procure the red soil from Doğanhisar. We extract 150-200 kinds of products from a sludge. "We make casseroles, jugs, rice pudding sets, cup sets, teapot, ornaments, piggy bank, whatever comes to mind for gifts or use."
