20 people confirmed dead in Swiss Alps plane crash

Twenty people aboard a vintage plane were killed when it crashed in the Swiss Alps, local media reported on Sunday.

They include two pilots, a flight attendant and 17 passengers.

The cause of the crash on Saturday from an altitude of 2,540 metres (8,330 feet) is unknown, Swissinfo news agency reported.

Search and rescue teams continue operations in the area.

Another small plane crashed in Hergiswil municipality killing a family of four, including two children.
